Black Bear in woods

This guy was Just off the road between Tower Falls and Roosevelt lodge. Sunday, June 25th 2006
He was just moseying along munching on berries. Seeing this bear was a nice parting gift as we left the park.

After these pictures were taken a militant park ranger appeared and threatened tickets to anyone who dare stop to look at this bear.
By the time I got back to my car, (1/8 mile at good pull out) everyone was cleared out. It is a shame that this is what visitors see when they come to visit
Our country.

Why do so many in the world hate Americans?

But please, contrast this to a different Park Ranger on the same day, different location. At the Grizzly Bear!!! home link
