I would like to build an automated snowplow. To test out a few ideas, I decided to build a cheap base and see what works as I envision, and what does not.

I posted the instructions for assembleing the chassis to Instructables. the .cdr and .dwg files that are the same information as the .pdf files above are also posted the that instructable.

As it warms up enough to run my lasercutter, the snow starts to fade, so does my interest in a snow plow. It makes me ponder "What could possibly go wrong with an automated lawn mower?". At least it is an excuse to read patents for farm implements from the 1950's. We all know that can be an entertaining end unto itself.

Below is the 1st stab at what I envision to cut the lawn. It is not quite a first draft yet, but below are the cut files I have so far.
